There are people all around, standing and sitting as well. He demonstrates that the table is heavy, that it’s very difficult to lift it with the tip of your fingers. One of the guests sitting in front of the table tries to lift it from one end, he can’t. You show your feet firmly on the ground and nothing except your fingertips is connected to the table. Suddenly in a slow and controlled motion, the table rises up to your head. Wobbles and hovers with enough grace to seem weightless. The table floats, people look all around, and nothing can be found. They witness the performance of a true Miracle. Then, it slowly descends back to the floor. You stand away, showing nothing attached to the table, no wires, strings, hooks, or mechanical apparatus. Nothing, except you and the table. Well, and a chair, an audience, and whatever it’s on the table.
